Homemade Sushi!
In keeping with our Asian theme this weekend, we made sushi and miso soup last night for dinner and took it over to Tim's apartment. Sushi is kind of time consuming to make, and I'm not comfortable using raw fish yet so it's all veggies and smoked fish, but it's a lot cheaper than eating it out and it tastes just the same. We had some sake and watched the ball game (I'm sure my Dad was thrilled that the Red Sox won, but we were just incredulous that the MVP got TWO cars at the end of the game) and came home to go to bed.
I got a 95 on my math test, but I don't feel good about it since I slacked all month and had to cram for it. I'm going to be better about it, starting now. I have to write my government paper this evening, I just keep forgetting about it, and it's due this week.
Michael will be gone tonight since he has a test tomorrow, so we spent the morning together at home and then went for lunch at Brown Bag Deli. Stopped by the dollar store for some candy on the way home and then he was off to school. The dollar store is so great, I don't know why I don't go there more often, they actually have some really cute dishes and things, and tons of candles. I love candles.
